I bought these engine stands at a discount tool store. They are about the cheapest engine stands that you can get. If I remember right they were less than $50 each and are rated at 1000 lbs each. For it to work correctly you need the engine stands that are at a 90 degree angle such as these. The engine stands that angle back will not work. It would be better if they had swivel casters. Although I have yet to add them to mine. I made the frame attachment bars out of 1 1/2″ and 1 1/4″ square tubing. The smaller tubing slides into the larger for different frame widths. This comes in real handy for sandblasting and painting frames.
