Once the stencil is on the part in the correct position, smooth out the stencil to make sure there are no air pockets. If this was a large decal or stencil we would have used a water and soap solution with a squeegee to help make removing the air bubbles a lot easier.
Here the top protective layer is carefully removed exposing the lettering.
The stencil is masked for spraying.
The color of the lettering is sprayed with basecoat. In this case the lettering will be black.
Once the paint dries it is time to unmask.
