Here’s some more pictures of Jim’s Mercury convertible restoration.

This shows the left side of the trunk floor. Using a parts car as Jim did for sheet metal works great because you know the parts will fit. Notice how they braced up the back of the body as they are doing the work.


Replacement spare tire well from the donor car tack welded in.


Rust repair on the right side inner trunk


The repairs to the trunk floor look great!
