Auto Restoration 101

The top three, in order, were Decatur FFA (Decatur, TX), El Campo FFA (El Campo, TX) and Hudson FFA (Lufkin, TX).

The national event, which has become the World Series of tractor restoration, took place during the 82th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis.

For winning the contest, Decatur FFA. Decatur, TX received a $5,000 prize from Chevron’s Delo brand of lubricants and a selection of tools from Chicago Pneumatic. They restored a 1964 3020 John Deere.

Second place went to El Campo FFA, El Campo, TX was which voted Reserve Champion for its restoration of a 1964 Case 830 High Crop and received a prize of $3,000.

Third place was awarded to Adam Jarvis from the Hudson FFA of Lufkin, TX for his restoration of a 1959 730 John Deere. The third place was awarded $2,000.
