Auto Restoration 101

Beverly Rae Kimes the noted automotive historian and journalist passed away on May 12, 2008. I had not heard of this until I was reading this blog post by Jil McIntosh. I had heard of Mrs. Kimes before. It seems like had just read an article on her just recently but I can’t remember where. She wrote hundreds of articles on classic cars and more than twenty books.

She rose to be the top editor for Automobile Quarterly. The Chicago Tribune reported in 1997 that she also owned several old cars, including one made by Sears, Roebuck and Company and sold by catalog as mail-order item 21R333. You can read more about her HERE.
