Auto Restoration 101

Steel wool is great for cleaning and polishing chrome parts. The best stuff to use is #0000. It is very fine and really soft. You can use it by itself or use it with a little chrome polish which makes it work a little faster. Did you know that it can be used on glass? It works great for cleaning old dirt, grime and overspray off of glass. Just make sure you use a new clean piece not one thats been kicked around on the garage floor to avoid any sharp contaminants that might scratch the glass. It’s readily available at most hardware stores and supermarkets.
