When I first saw the inner fenders to this car I couldn’t believe how rusty they were. I thought for sure that there would be nothing left of them after they were sandblasted. Fortunately I was wrong. The engine compartment side of them was covered with thick scaly rust. The side facing the tire had a lot of undercoating on them which took some time to scrape off. It took the blaster quit a while to get the rust off. They cleaned up nice and actually look very good. We also had the doors, fenders, and trunk lid blasted too.

This is how bad the rust was on the inner fenders.

This is after they were blasted. They turned out nicer than expected.

This is the doors and trunk lid. Notice he went very light on the trunk skin.
